Twilight Film Festival postcard

A postcard design for the Twilight Film Festival. I wanted to try and create the effect of the traditonal celluloid film breaking up and becoming fragmented with the arrival of digital cinema.

Just cleaning up my computer and found these old drawings from 2003. Character sketches for a children's picture book idea that never went any further. I'd love to do a full picture book someday but think I need to keep honing my craft. Shaun Tan's and Marc Craste's work makes me drool!
